INVITATION : CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL
Founded in 1976, Action India has reached its 40th year of working with urban low income families in and around Delhi. Building resurgent communities we have sustained our connection with the women, children and youth over these long years moving over three generations. With the passage from discovering childhood to growing adolescence, empowering woman’s voice and agency, we recognize the needs of the elderly and people with special needs.
Celebrating the 40th year on March 6th, 2016, all members of the organization gathered to share the warmth and caring of our fraternity. The long struggle of courage and hope against all odds for the survival of our values and mission committed to social change. In a rapidly changing development scenario, we aim to enable all citizens to participate and claim their share of the economic growth, knowledge and technological advancement from the bottom up.
We believe there is a place and space for everyone and respect for all religions and allow no discrimination of caste or occupation.
In collaboration with the Children’s Film Society of India, our first major event of the 40th year celebration will bring together 1000 children from the urban community aged 8-16 years to the Children’s Film Festival on 1 and 2 April 2016 at Bal Bhawan, Delhi.
We request your support and participation in this festival to provide refreshments (contribution), gifts, prizes, etc. or play games and organize activities for children in groups.
